CD Cover

The CD cover I did for my Visions to Music was Diva by Beyonce. I chose this song because I wanted to encourage woman empowerment. I took the picture of my two feet, one leg with jeans and my jordans and the other leg that I edited to look like I was wearing cheetah print leggings with my black, sparkly high heels on. The background starts from a yellow mustard color in the background that fades into orange and then to a dark red. The picture of my two feet are of the left side of my CD cover while the right side has empty space where I wrote in the middle, Female Hustler.
My visions to music does not have a pattern. Nothing is being contrasted because everything is bright and colorful, besides the black high heel. Both of my shoes are being emphasized. My visions to music is asymmetrical. My piece does not have unity.
My visions to music means to encourage woman empowerment. No female needs a man to feel motivated or feel protected about themselves. They should be confident and independent. The message through my CD cover is that woman can be hustlers just as being business woman or a "classy lady". Woman can take over the world in that type of way.
I do feel successful about my Visions to Music because I like the image of my two feet with my two favorite shoes. I also like the song Diva. It is neat. It looks great as a beginner! My feeling towars guys is that they do  not kow what is heading towards them - woman are becoming more in power.

Contrast

The contrast art piece I created is a black and white picture of a figure that is made up of different sumbols and letters. Its head is a suare with sunglasses, half a oval shaped nose and spikey hair I made with the letter W. Its body is the ying-yang symbol. Its arms are made up of triangles, from biggest to smallest. At the end of its right hand, it has a hand that shows the peace sign. Its legs are two big letter D's and its rollerblading on the number eight.
My photo does have repetition because of its triangle hands that go from biggest to smallest. Everything is being contrasted - the background is black while the object I made is white. The object I made is also the only thing that is being emphasized and that you see. It has symmetrical balance. My design does have unity.
My piece means to me that the object I created can be as cool as any cat in the block. He/she is holding up the peace sign to say that they are relaxed and living life. They do not care about what you think of them.
I do feel like my contrast art piece was a success because I added a lot of symbols, numbers, and letters. I really liked how it turned out. So, peace out!

Asymmetrical Balance

My art piece demonstrates asymmetrical balance. The background looks like swirls of mixes of nuetral pink and warn-out orange, and some gray. On the top of my piece, boldging gray, titonic letters say 'TITANIC,'  and its background is black. Below it, on the far left side, has black and white, newspaper print, letters saying San Francisco, in cursive. Next to it, I put together four slanted letters to the right saying "swag." Next to that, on the top right hand part of tehe word Titanic says jiggle in small black print letters. Below the word "swag," it says Music that I cut out of a newspaper and its background is gray. On the very bottom of my art piece, says "BRASIL" in rainbow colors.
My piece has no repetition. The only thing that is being contrasted is my "Titanic" word. The letter 'A' in Swag is somewhat being contrasted because its deformed immensely than the other letters. There is no unity.
My piece means that there are all types of fonts, colors, effects that can be used when creating art. I did seven changes so I made only a few changes from what I could've done. The techniques influenced my communication by teaching myself all the effects.
I do feel like my art piece was successful because it has about seven or more changes to it and I learned how to add and subtract the colors used in the background. I think it looks unique as well.

Acapulco Calendar

My digital calendar is a beautiful beach house on the edge of the ocean in Acapulco. The background has a picture of a beach house and its waves are splashing. The beach house is yellow and I made the trees in the background a blue and green color. I darkened the ocean somewhat greener and I made the house a more brighter yellow. The rocks stand out before than originally.
My digital calendar does have a pattern because of its rocks at the bottom. It also has a lot of plants in the back of the yellow beach house.
My piece means to me that there is a peaceful, magical place you can go to. The calendar represents that there are many places such as this one to relax and find a spot to just enjoy yourself. This represents me as a person who likes to travel.
I do feel like my calendar is successful because I was the original photographer of this photo and I finished this project early. The elements of this design do work together to create unity. It is created neatly.

Hello Kitty

My logo are my three initials, "VGG," and my theme is Hello Kitty. Inside my first 'V' is a picture of Hello Kitty including her body. It shows her whiskers, her eyes, and her bow. My middle 'G' has the outline of Hello Kitty's face. My last 'G' is a picture of My Melody, a character and friend of Hello Kitty.
My logo has a pattern because it onle has characters of Hello Kitty and her friends. What is being contrasted are the letters and the picture in the middle of my letters. Nothing is being emphasized. My logo has symmetrical balance and my logo does not have unity.
My logo means to me that I like Hello Kitty. It also looks cute and girly. Which also means to me that I have a sweet personality.
I do feel successful because I know what I wanted since the beginning and I executed it very well. I didn't do the same mistake as the others in my class. I finished on time and my logo looks just like I wanted it to.
